Top 5 Films of 2025 Note: If your favorite film didn't make the list it's probably because I haven't seen it! And for that reason this list may change in the future if I watch more films from this year. This list is my personal opinion. #5: Superman: There isn't really much more to say about this than...WOW! David Corenswet and Nicholas Hoult both give electric and emotional performances and James Gunn delivers a movie with a simple message: be kind. The direction is out of this world, the effects and action sequences are awesome, and the humor is on point. It's a shame it couldn't be higher on the list but it's a must watch for sure. #4: Weapons: Breaking the mold of demons and serial killers, Weapons offers a unique take on horror and it absolutely works. In the first hour, nothing scary was really happening but it still gave me the frights because I knew it was building up to an insane climax and it did not disappoint.
