Movie: The Dark Knight Director: Christopher Nolan IMDb Rating: 9.1/10 Letterboxd Rating: 4.5/5 Overview: Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lt. Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining organizations that plague the streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as the Joker. The Good: Obviously, the best thing about this film is the acting. Aside from Heath Ledger, who delivers one of the best performances of the 21st century, Aaron Eckhart really stood out to me on rewatch. Harvey Dent's character development from the hero to the villain is so painful but good at the same time. I think Heath Ledger's Joker and Aaron Eckhart's Two-Face are easily in talks for top 10 villains of all time. Aside from acting, the cinematography and lighting is incredible. It just...
